Fox Hills History
Based on available hand-written records dating back to 1873, the Fox Hills Subdivision area was initially farmland owned by many individuals. In the 1960's the Wm J. Pulte Company proposed to develop the land as a residential neighborhood with common areas to include a school, a pool, tennis courts and a community house. The houses were built in phases beginning in the late 1960's with completion in the early 1970's. The land is bounded by South Boulevard on the north, I-75 on the East, an unplatted area on the south (now the Fox Hills Apartments) and Opdyke Road on the west.
